For the overall personality enhancement of the students, the college Youth Welfare Department organises various activities throughout the year. Besides engaging students in different inter-class and inter-college cultural & co-curricular activities, the department grooms and trains teams and individual participants for participation in zonal & Inter-zonal Youth Festival. The performance of our students has always been ranked high at these Festivals. Our teams bring laurels in drama, histrionics, music items, dance, quiz & fine arts events year after year by winning top positions in various Competitions at the Zonal Youth Festival.

Apart from this, the department organises a “Talent Hunt” event and a theatre workshop annually with a view to spot and hone the creative skills of the budding artists. The aim of these programmes is to bring to surface the latent creative and aesthetic skills of the young students. The maximum weightage of 40% marks is reserved in any or all the curricular activities i.e. for admission to various courses in the University Teaching Departments and its affiliated colleges.
